Swimming Carnival

The DHS Swimming Carnival was a vibrant spectacle of spirited competition. As the sun illuminated the Noble Park Aquatic Centre, students and teachers gathered around the pool in their House colours. As they cheered and chanted, they were ready for what was to be another successful Swimming Carnival. Their excitement filled the air and you could feel the buzz around who would win this year's Swimming Carnival. In the pool, the swimmers performed excellently, showcasing their talent and skill, but most of all, their persevering spirit.

Outside the pool, students enjoyed the sunshine and used the opportunity to socialise with friends and generally have a great time. I even took the opportunity to play basketball with others. As the day progressed, the competition got more intense and the swimmers put on a fantastic display of strength, endurance and skill. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as the swimmers raced towards the finish, with the winners being cheered on with thunderous applause.

Even though there were winners and losers, the DHS Swimming Carnival was not just about the competition. It was also a day for everyone to come together and celebrate our school's community spirit. The carnival provided a platform for students to bond with each other, make new friends and create lasting memories. This year's winners were Callistemon, followed by Hakea and then Banksia. Congratulations, Callistemon!
