Grevillea House

Hello everyone! We are Sumaira and Abood, your House Captains for this academic year.

We are truly honoured and privileged to serve Grevillea House and are excited to represent and lead our House to success in various ways. Whether that’s cheering on our teammates at sporting events, collaborating on house projects, or simply sharing laughs and memories. Being House Captains allows us to play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and inclusive house community.

As House Captains, our primary goal is to foster a strong sense of unity, pride, and belonging within our House. We aim to lead by example, encouraging all members to actively participate in house activities, support one another, and strive for excellence in all endeavours. Through effective communication, collaboration, and dedication, we seek to inspire our fellow housemates to reach their full potential.

The Swimming Carnival was an exhilarating experience for our house. It was incredible to see everyone come together at the pool, ready to compete and support one another. As House Captains, it was heartwarming to witness the dedication and determination of our fellow House members. Whether they were racing in the water or cheering from the sidelines. Everyone gave their all and truly embodied the spirit of sportsmanship. Reflecting on the Swimming Carnival, we're proud of the achievements of our House.

While not every race ended in victory, what mattered most was the sense of unity and pride that we shared as a team. We celebrated each other's successes and lifted each other up in moments of defeat, reinforcing the bonds that unite us as a House.

Despite our unfortunate loss at the Swimming Carnival, moving forward we would like to show our House spirit by winning athletics, chorals and much more in the future. Ultimately, our goal is to leave a positive and enduring impact on our school community, ensuring that our House stands as a beacon of teamwork, sportsmanship, and team spirit.
