F/1A and F/1B News

The F/1 Students have been working hard in Maths, learning to count forwards and backwards, ordering numbers from smallest to largest and creating 2, 3 and 4 step patterns.  In addition to lots of hands on experiences, the students have been using our TV like a huge iPad to practise their ordering skills!

 

Grade 2

What a great two weeks we have had!

 

During swimming week, it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and everyone trying their best! Thank you to all the parents that helped with walking down and back from the pool it was greatly appreciated!

 

In Maths, we practised using strategies to help us solve warm up questions. It was great to see so many different strategies being used. 

 

On Tuesday we had our first visit to the Tongala Aged Care. Students shared picture story books with residents. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces! We are all looking forward to our next visit.

In Inquiry we were very lucky to have a visit from Uncle Wayne who brought in lots of Aboriginal artefacts. 

 

Please note our library borrowing time has changed. Students are able to borrow books on Wednesdays.
