NAPLAN

NAPLAN testing will occur on Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 and Friday 15 March, during lessons 1 and 2 and/or 3 and 4.

Please make sure that your child has working wired headphones and a fully charged device for each of these days. Please also encourage them to eat a good breakfast, drink plenty of water and have a good night's sleep beforehand. We advise you not to listen to radio news broadcasts on the morning of testing and to arrive at school in plenty of time.

Term 1 Primary Clubs: Irish Dancing Club –   Change of Day

As per previous communication from Mr Walker to parents of students attending this club, please note that Irish Dancing will now be held weekly on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

We are looking forward to performing at the upcoming Harmony Day. 

Pre-Prep - Year 12 Harmony Day 21 March

Harmony Day Assembly is fast approaching! We have a 'Parade of Nations', during which students from their different cultural backgrounds parade through the Assembly in national dress or carry a flag from their country of origin.

If your child is interested in being part of our Parade of Nations this year, please complete the registration form via the provided link.

Years 4/5 Outdoor Education Camp 

Years 4 and 5 students will attend their Outdoor Education Camp which will be held from Wednesday 17 April - Friday 19 April (Term 2, Week 1). Please mark these dates in your calendar, with camp information and requirements to be emailed to parents shortly. 

Health Centre Email

Please ensure that all email communication to the College Nurse is sent via the Health Centre Email: HealthCentre@clayfield.qld.edu.au.  It is extremely important that the Health Centre Email is used and not a personal email, as we cannot guarantee that emails sent to a personal email will be seen in the required timeframe. 

Nut Free Primary School

A reminder for all our families, our Primary School has a nut-free policy. Thank you for adhering to this when packing food for your children.
