Out in the playground this week, Alice even asked an upset student if they wanted to play with her as she was passing by. You are the queen of kindness Alice. Keep it up!

FE | Oliver Wilson-Haynes | Leadership and Kindness | Congratulations to Oliver for displaying excellent leadership and kindness in Foundation E. He has proven to be a reliant and caring friend towards his peers when they needed help. Oliver continues to display fantastic leadership as he sits beautifully on the floor and takes on any job with confidence and a can-do attitude. Well done Oliver! |
1D | Byron Scukovic | A Love of Learning | Last week Byron participated in some Maths sessions with enthusiasm. He applied the strategy of ‘counting on’ when adding two numbers together and worked cooperatively with his classmates to create a ladybug with doubles facts. Byron also contributed to our discussion about kindness, providing examples of how we can be kind to others. Keep up the wonderful work Byron! |
1N | Pim Zuban-Smith | A Love of Learning | Pim consistently comes to school each day ready to learn and applies incredible effort to all his work! He shows wonderful enthusiasm for all tasks and is always a keen contributor in our Heggarty sessions and Daily Maths Review. Pim shows great maturity and reflection during circle time and we love to hear his valued thoughts and opinions. |
1S | Zaylee Pritchard | Teamwork | This week Zaylee has shown great teamwork skills in a small group setting. In our ladybug Maths lesson, she worked well sharing resources and helping others with their double’s facts. Well done Zaylee! |
2C | Charlie Whitehead | Kindness | Charlie is always showing kindness to his peers and teachers. He is the first to lend a helping hand and assist anyone who needs it. The other morning one of his friends was cold and Charlie offered them his jumper straight away. This is just one of the many examples of how Charlie displays kindness within our school. We are so lucky to have such a friendly student at BRPS! |
2H | Emily Bishop | Fairness | Emily was a fair and fun friend last week playing a game with her classmates. She used her Dynavox with them to take turns. Emily even won! What a great friend you are Emily. Keep it up! |
2P | Tommy Wheat | Teamwork | Tommy always works well with his classmates. He is respectful and kind when working in groups and ensures that all members have a chance to provide ideas and input. This was particularly evident this week during our Cyber Safety dramatisations. Great work Tommy.

3B | Charlotte Foster | Love of Learning | Charlotte has been working hard in all areas of Mathematics throughout the year. Her confidence and automatic recall of multiplication and division facts has increased significantly. Charlotte has a sound understanding of fact families and successfully applies her knowledge to solve maths problems. Super effort Charlotte! |
4B | Jasper Pennell | A Love of Learning | Jasper has been an active participant in all lessons, sharing great ideas during class discussions. He completes all work to a high standard and is always respectful and helpful to his peers and teachers. |
4H | Octavio Ferraz | A Love of Learning | Octavio’s hand has been shooting up all week to answer questions, demonstrating his attentive listening, concentration and learning. You’ve been on fire, Octavio. Keep up the amazing effort. |
4Z | Emily Griffiths | Kindness | Emily consistently goes above and beyond, offering her assistance to others without hesitation. Whether it's lending a helping hand with schoolwork, offering words of encouragement, or simply being there for a friend in need, her thoughtfulness knows no bounds. We’re so lucky to have such a kind and considerate student in 4Z. |
5L | Kayin Ige | Creativity & Hard work | Kayin is a wonderful role-model to his peers, particularly in the classroom. He is hard-working, consistently completing his schoolwork to a high standard. Everyone was particularly impressed with his History Expo on Peter Lalor, which he obviously put a lot of effort into. Keep up the great work Kayin! |
5M | Beau Boyd | Love of Learning | Beau has persistently endeavoured to work to the very best of his ability in all subject areas. He has particularly shone in mathematics. His competency with times tables is to be admired. |
5T | Millie Goldsmith | Leadership | Millie has demonstrated many leadership qualities in 5T. She shows encouragement to her peers in learning tasks and provides support with a smile. Millie is a valued member of our classroom and we always love hearing her contributions too. Her leadership qualities particularly shone through during our Literacy sessions on our novel study - War Horse. Congratulations Millie! |
6M | Ruby Murray | Bravery | Congratulations to Ruby from 6M for conquering her first camp and plane journey. She had shown bravery throughout her time in Canberra, demonstrating her readiness to embrace new experiences. I hope this is the first of many adventures and you continue to seize every opportunity. When you are faced with challenges in the future, we hope you look back on this experience with pride and remember the strength and resilience that carried you through. |
