Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

Briony Zagame and Lois Curnow

This week we welcomed Sarah who is the Buloke Shire Healthy Kids Advisor for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. Sarah kindly organised some new equipment such as chopping boards, cutlery, bowls and scales. We are very appreciative her support and thank her for this.

On the menu we had delicious Spaghetti with pinenuts, silverbeet and ricotta pasta which was served with Apple Crumble. Mrs Curnow had some delicious Granny Smith apples on her tree at home that we made use out of!

Our seed paper we made last week has dried, so each student took some home to share for Mother's Day. Being recycled paper, it can be simply placed in the garden and in spring there will be some lovely flowers grow from the seeds.
