Mother's Day Stall a huge success - thank you

On behalf of the students, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sylvia Tari who coordinated this year’s Mother’s Day Stall. It is always a much loved event on the school calendar, but one that does not just come together on the day without someone behind the scenes in the many weeks prior to make it so. I have no doubt that there were lots of mums, grandmothers and special friends who were delighted with their gifts on Sunday. Not only can the success of the stall be measured in the joy it gave to the students to purchase something for loved ones, but also the fact that the stall sold out of all of its goodies.

It was also amazing to see that the volunteer roster for manning the stall on the day was filled after only one Compass communication! So, thank you to all those parents who helped. There really was a lovely atmosphere in the hallways of the reception area on this day. Thank you also to Aleks Tsitsikas - who made a generous of donation of $300 worth of friendship bracelets to be sold at the stall.

We will let the community know how much was raised and where funds will be spent in a coming issue.
