Student school attendance

At CJC student attendance is a great priority. Attendance patterns are established early – a child regularly missing days in kindergarten or in the early years of school will often continue to miss classes in the later years, and receive lower test scores than their classmates. It’s vital that students go to school every day – even in the early years of primary school.

Both schools and parents have an important role to play in supporting students to attend school every day. Poor patterns of attendance place students at risk of not achieving their educational, social and psychological potential and render them disadvantaged in the quality of choices they are able to make in later life situations.

Luna is on leave

Luna was having too much fun over the holidays and unfortunately has injured a couple of her toes. She has a special bandage on her foot and a cone around her head so she can't take the bandage off! Luna will spend some time at home at the start of Term 2 whilst she recovers.

She is looking forward to having the cone taken off and coming back to CJC soon!

Get well soon!
