Secondary Assembly Performance – Tanaka Maunganidze

Congratulations to Tanaka who performed a moving rendition of ‘Mary Did You Know?’ at our Secondary Assembly on Wednesday. Tanaka captivated the audience with his tuneful singing and overall impressive performance. Well done, Tanaka!

Introducing Adult Choir

We are delighted to support the creation of an Adult Choir, open to adults and MAG Staff of any ability and experience, who have a passion for music and singing!

The aim of the Adult Choir is to have a fun, lowkey gathering of adults who enjoy singing. Music and singing are known to promote positive feelings in individuals and Susan Cox (MAG parent), would like to offer adults who are interested, the opportunity to “sing their stress out”.

The style of music will include modern musical theatre, pop and rock music.

About Susan Cox – Adult Choir Director

Susan has a wealth of music knowledge and experience, having completed Grade 8 Piano (AMEB) and Grade 5 Musicianship Theory (AMEB).

Susan has been a cast member of many musical theatre productions, including “Jesus Christ Superstar” with the Horsham Theatre Company. She has performed as a soloist singer and has been a member of several choirs, including the RMIT choir and the Melbourne Chamber Choir. Susan has also had several years of individual vocal tuition.

Commencement Date

Rehearsals will commence Monday 20 May 2024.

Rehearsal Details

Rehearsals will be weekly, on a Monday evening from 7.30-8.30pm at MAG.

The cost for participation is $10 per week (charged per school term and invoiced by Susan).
