Congratulations to Wezley Buxton for his selection into the Armidale Diocesan Golf team to compete at the NSWCPS Golf Championships. The Tournament will be held on Monday 5th August in Blackheath.
Diocesan Cross Country
Good luck to our students that are travelling to Barraba on Friday to participate in the Diocesan Cross Country.
All students must be in Barraba by 9:30am and report to Mrs Lea to have their names marked off. Students will walk the course at 10:00am and the first race will start at 10:45am. A canteen will be operating and the day should conclude around 2:00pm.
The Carnival will be held at the Barraba Sports Ground (Rugby grounds), 175 Trevallyn Road Barraba. Parents are permitted to walk the course with their children, but once the events commence they are to remain in the spectator area. No spectators will be allowed on the course or to cross the course at any time during the events.
Competitors are to run in their school sports uniform. No competitors will be allowed to run in a Diocesan or Polding uniform. Parents will be asked to supervise a checkpoint on the day. This will be for approximately 30minutes and shared amongst all families. A roster with the details was sent home today. The Polding Cross Country will be held at Eastern Creek in Sydney on Wednesday 5 June. Students must be available to get their own way to this next level of trials in Sydney, as there will be no bus.
Jump Rope For Heart Update
We’re skipping through the term!
Jump Rope for Heart is well underway and it’s great to see so many children out in the playground skipping with smiles on their faces! Holy Trinity has already raised over $730.00 so far.
It’s not long until our Jump Off Day on Friday 31 May, so keep on practising those tricks! If you are fundraising, don’t forget to share your online fundraising page with friends and family to raise money for a great cause!
