PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Great things that happened last week...

Our 3 Year 10 students who attended the Armidale Catholic Schools Warraymalaya Camp for Aboriginal students had an amazing experience. The students along with our AEA Miss Tegan Higgins travelled to Sydney and had the opportunity to visit the University of NSW, climb the harbour bridge and go out on the harbour with NSW police. Charlie, Lizzie and Sarah were great ambassadors for our school and their families.

Our soccer teams competed in the second round of the Bill Turner Cup and Trophy. We had one win and one loss. Thank you to all who made these games a reality. We look forward to the girls next game.

Year 2 were able to go on their history excursion to the CBD which was postponed from last term. They took many photos of our buildings ready for the next part of their history work.

Congratulations to our Year 9 students, Matilda and Mollie, who represented the Armidale Diocese at the CCC Netball competition in Sydney. The competition was extremely skilled and tall! Thank you to Miss Majetic who supported the Diocesan team.

Well done to our Ag team who had good fun at the Warialda Show.

And finally ... thank you to all our Mums, Stepmums, Grans, Nans and important ladies who came to our Mother's Day breakfast. There was so many of you. We hope you enjoyed the morning. As always, thank you to our staff who are always willing to help and are generous with their time to make these community events a reality. Also, thanks to our P and F who likewise give up their time to make the Mother's Day Stall happen. Our students love to shop!

Looking forward to...

This week is a little quieter with Year 9 heading to Dorrigo today, our Cross Country runners competing in Armidale (Secondary) and Barraba (Primary) on Wednesday and Friday respectively. Secondary tennis players are in Armidale on Wednesday too.

We are competing in our first Futsal competition on Thursday in Armidale. Good luck to our first team!
