Year 7 Art

In Term 2 our Year 7's will be exploring and making artworks from clay experimenting with a variety of clay techniques. Keep your eyes open on our Facebook page or the newsletter to see what creative artworks that the Year 7's create.

During Term 1 Year 7's learnt about the Art elements making and creating a variety of artworks from a range of art materials. The artworks included in this week's newsletter focus on the art element of texture. Rubbings (frottage) were taken from around the school and rubbing plates were also used to obtain a variety of textures. Students were then asked to carefully compose a 2D artwork using the technique of collage, cover paper and our new posca markers. These are just a few examples of what a few Year 7C students created.
