Volunteer opportunity this Wednesday! 

THIS coming Wednesday 8 May, we are trialling a new idea - an after school sausage sizzle! 

We would love to ask any available parents of grade 5 students to sign up to help cook or serve sausages (other parents are also welcome and all help is very much appreciated!). 

As we will need to be cooking during our Autumn Family afternoon, we have divided the shifts into half hour slots so that parents are still able to head over to their child’s classroom during this time. 

If you are able to help for half an hour between 2:30-4pm, please add your name to the roster here. Please also plan to stick around and buy a sausage - vegan and Halal options will be available. 

CET dates ahead:

Wednesday 8 May: After school sausage sizzle following the Autumn Family Day - stick around after school for a chat and a sausage. This will be open to the whole school community and organised by the CET. We would like to particularly invite grade 5 parents to help out on the day by cooking and selling sausages. 

Friday 31 May: Plant and produce market. This time we will be asking grade 4 parents to help out on the day, and the whole community to help by bringing baked goods and produce if they are able to. 

Friday 21 June: Winter Solstice celebration. This will be a low-key event in conjunction with OSHC. More details to follow. 

10 August Trivia Night - Term 3!! 

Please be sure to mark in your calendars that we’ve moved the annual ‘grown-ups-only’ Trivia event to early Term 3. Look out for opportunities to vote on a theme later in the term!

All volunteers at the school need a valid Working With Children’s Check - click this link to apply if you don’t have one. It’s fairly straightforward and free for volunteers.
