Arts Day

Our students have been choreographing their House Dances in preparation for their performance for Arts Day 2024, entitled 'Time to Shine'. Each House has chosen a different era to embrace and have been assisted by guest choreographers in workshops throughout the term: Jess French and Ashley George.

Jess French

Jess graduated from All Hallows' School two years ago with dance as one of her senior subjects. She choreographed our House Dances last year and is excited to be back. She has been dancing at Kick Dance since she was five years old and since then has developed a love of dance. She is currently studying Psychology at UQ and is teaching at Kick Dance and mentoring Clayfield College Dance Troupe.

Ashley George

Ashley is an aspiring dancer, choreographer, teacher and performer with over 15 years' experience in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Commercial Jazz and Commercial Heels. She is currently completing her full time training at Dynamite Studios at the Gold Coast. She has a Certificate IV and Diploma in Elite Performance, to complement her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance), RAD Ballet teachers’ certification and CSTD Contemporary teacher’ certification.

Our students are grateful to be working with these enthusiastic instructors. This week all our students Years 6-12 will be nominating their chosen workshop for Arts Day, which will include a variety of activities from Visual Art, Dance, Music and Theatre workshops.
