ANZAC DAY LITURGY

Last Tuesday 30 April, we acknowledged Anzac Day with a whole school liturgy. A special thank you to our important guests, Commander Simon Kelly and Maroubra RSL Vice President Mr Jim Coady. It was a shame we were not able to have parents join us for this event due to the weather, however we look forward to having many more opportunities for families to join us in these events in the future.

The students at St Aidan’s were very respectful and demonstrated exceptional manners and respect. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA PROCESSION

You are warmly invited to attend the Our Lady of Fatima Procession next Saturday 11 May at 6:00 p.m. at St Mary's Cathedral.

Last year’s inaugural ‘Feast of Our Lady of Fatima Procession’ saw young Catholics walk side by side with thousands of their fellow faithful from different parishes, schools, backgrounds, ages and stages in their faith journey.

This year, the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney invites you once again to know you are not alone, to feel the strength and warmth of community, the power of prayer, and the connection between the faithful youth of Sydney as we honour Our Lady with prayer and procession at the second annual ‘Feast of Our Lady of Fatima Procession’.

YEAR 1 STORY TELLING

Year One has been learning about the the Emmaus Story. They explored this story in a range of creative ways.
