What a fabulous space is our Library! We are extremely pleased with our variety of books that we can offer to our students and we are thrilled when students tell us of new books to purchase that they think will be enjoyed by our students.
We have enjoyed another year purchasing many quality books from Lamont Books and Scholastic Books, either through subscription, donations or rewards.
We'd especially like to thank Venetia and Stacy for volunteering their time to coordinate our Scholastic Australia Bookclub. Twice a term, these ladies collate, finalise and distribute book orders to students that order from the different issues. Not only are many students purchasing books, but COHR is receiving rewards from these purchases for us to buy books too. If you would like to assist Venetia and Stacy, please chat to them or send me an email.
Book Week 2025 -- "BOOK AN ADVENTURE" is the theme next year!
Book an Adventure ties the exploratory aspirations of this year’s artist Jess McGeachin and our invitation to join us in celebrating 80 years of Children’s Book Week.
Come on an adventure with us in 2025 as we travel across lands, time, and memories.
Overdue Books - There's still time to return your books. Please leave any books on the Library desk. If you have received a note due to a lost book, money can be left at the office.
Spare Library Bags - most of our spare library bags are still missing! Are they in a school bag, a bookshelf or lying around at home somewhere? If so, could they please make their way back to school. Thanks
