Teaching Teams 2025

We have completed our 2025 teaching teams and students had the opportunity to meet their new teacher and their new classmates on Thursday at our Transition Session. Each year we move students around in grades to support the growth of friendships across a level, and each year there is some change to the teaching teams.

We are excited for our new teaching teams and to be welcoming some new teachers to the school.

Families will note that we are moving to 4 Foundation classes. As we have had an Enrolment Management Implementation Plan for this year, we are not able to accept any enrolments from outside our school zone. This is a Department of Education support to ensure that schools with growing enrolment numbers do not grow too large. We have declined the enrolment application of over 50 students for 2025 into Foundation.

The new teaching teams have been built and are listed below with the class names.

Whole School Carols Night

Our entire School Community came together on Wednesday night to celebrate our annual School Carols. This incredible event saw performances by our school band, string orchestra, choirs, rock band, individual performers, and each class as Levels. It was a truly spectacular event and was described by a new teacher to the school as very 'bougie' which the dictionary defines as “luxurious in lifestyle yet humble in character,” - which I love!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Tzimos and Ms Geilings for MCing, Ms Bonte and Ms Powell for conducting the Choir, Mr Anderson and Mr Godwin for running the Rock Band, Ms Bell for leading the Rangettes, Mr Bunston for conducting the String Orchestra, the sound and lighting techs - Mark Grummisch and Peter Lyons and their families, all of the Rangeview staff for supporting the students to performs so well, and last but not least, our wonderful Megan Campbell - who creates this amazing event and literally brings it to life.

School Council

Our Rangeview School Council met on Tuesday 3rd here at School and we held our final meeting for the year. We used the new school pizza Oven and the dinner was declared delicious!

We thank all of the members of the 2025 School Council - Simon Davies, Sartaj Singh, Cassie Morris, Jess Mckay, Lauren Harbeck, Maxi Bennett, Leigh Newton, Michelle Cook, Paul Wong, Ambrin Ali, Mitch Clark, Kate McLeod, Liam Sommers, Trudy Turner, and Jo Davidson. We extend special thanks to Sartaj Singh who has acted as treasurer for a number of years and will be leaving the school at the end of this year. We wish him all the best for the future schooling of his daughters.

Lost Property

In Term 1 2025 we will be trialling a new model for the management of the school's lost property. Families will have the option of using a new alerts system which will notify parents when items are found and added to the lost property collection. It is hoped this will alleviate this issue of searching through the items and not finding anything. More details on this new system and how to use it will be sent to families directly.

Holiday Program - TheirCare

Our wonderful Before and After School Care Program will be running a Holiday Program from 6th January in the Gym. Any families who need holiday care can book into this service.

The last day of the school term is Friday 20th December. There is a 1:30pm finish on this day and Theircare will be available for those families that need it.

We wish all of our families a safe and happy holiday period and we look forward to more learning and fun in 2025!
