DISABLED PARKING
We kindly ask for your cooperation in respecting the designated disabled parking spaces at school. These spots are reserved for individuals who require them for mobility reasons, and it is essential that we keep them available for those who need them most.
We’ve noticed that some drivers have been using these spaces when picking up or dropping off their children. Please remember that these spots should not be used unless you have a valid permit.
By being considerate of others, we can help create a safer and more accessible environment for all members of our school community. We thank you for your understanding and support.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - CAMPS, SPORTS AND EXCURSION FUND (CSEF)
The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) is a Victorian Government program that assists eligible families to cover the cost of school trips, camps and sporting activities. Any parents/carers who hold a valid means-tested concession card, a Gold DVA card or are a temporary foster parent, may be eligible for CSEF. The allowance is paid directly to the school to use towards these items.
The CSEF form is attached to this newsletter. If you did not receive a CSEF payment in 2024, have had a new child start, or are a new family, please fill in and return the application form to the office as soon as possible. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, whether you need to reapply etc, please see the office.
SCHOOL DROP OFF & PICKUP
Children in the playground are supervised from 8:30 a.m. Gates and classrooms will remain locked until this time. Children should not arrive at school before this time.
If you are dropping off or collecting from the opposite side of Napoleon Cres, please get out of the car and cross the road with your children or direct them to use the children’s crossing.
There are No Parking signs in the bays at the front of the school office in Napoleon Crescent. No parking signs allow vehicles to stop in the marked bays and pick up passengers. The driver must remain within 2 metres of the vehicle and the vehicle must leave the bay within 2 minutes of stopping. These requirements only apply within the times displayed on the signs.
The tennis courts will be available for drive through drop-off and pick up of children before and after school. Entry is from Hamelin St and exit is onto Napoleon Cres. Please do not park on the courts.
If your child/ren arrive late or need to leave early, please use the office entrance and sign your child in/out using the iPad.
