Performing Arts at STA in 2025
Performing Arts at STA in 2025
The Performing Arts Program at STA continued to grow in 2024! The year saw all Year 3-6 students involved in the Amadeus music program developing new musical skills. Many students from Year 1-6 were involved in the SCS Eisteddfod competing in the areas of Dance and Choir, and for the first time Drama. Even the Infants were able to be involved with the addition of the new Infants Dance Ensemble. Students also performed at many school events during the year for family, friends and special guests.
In 2025 the extracurricular performing arts program will allow for maximum involvement by students alongside opportunities for all students that will exist via school based programs in Music, Dance and Drama. Students will learn and develop skills in the classroom and on the stage! |

Solo Opportunities
Experienced and interested students will also be supported to participate in the SCS Eisteddfod solo events in instrumental, singing, drama and dance. Mrs McInness can assist with entries for interested students.
STA Performing Arts will continue to grow and develop in 2025. Students will be encouraged and supported to participate in all opportunities available. Participation in the performing arts has a positive impact on confidence and self esteem. It encourages teamwork, develops complex thinking skills, communication and self expression. Performing arts aids cognitive, physical and emotional development - all while having fun and feeling good.
Thank you for your support of STA Performing Arts.
