From the Leadership Team

Dear GPS Community,
It has been such a positive start to the 2026 school year across all areas of GPS. Three weeks into the year and I am seeing our wonderful young people demonstrating a strong understanding of what our values of Respect, Curiosity and Endeavour truly mean for them and our entre school community.
At Greenwith Primary, we believe that the foundation of a successful year is built from day one. That is why, in the first two weeks, our students engage in focused activities designed to strengthen teamwork, create shared class values, and set meaningful goals together. This approach ensures every learner feels supported and ready to thrive, paving the way for a year full of achievement, collaboration, and growth.
A heartfelt welcome to all our new families joining us this year. I trust you have already experienced the warmth and unique spirit that make Greenwith Primary School so special. We are delighted to have you as part of our community.
This year marks an exciting chapter with the launch of our Cultural Framework. Staff, students, and our Governing Council are working together to shape what this means for us over the next three years. Guided by our Activation Strategy, we will focus on four key areas:
- Deepening our community engagement and connections
- Enhancing our learning environments (“space and place”)
- Ensuring rich, innovative teaching and learning experiences
Fostering outstanding character development in every student
Every decision and project we embark on will be anchored in this ambitious plan, providing us with a clear and inspiring path towards an even brighter future. Our Cultural Framework can be found on our school’s website. Click the link below to have a look:

Greenwith Primary School is a community built on partnership, and your voice matters. I warmly invite any member of our community to drop in for a chat—whether you’d like to discuss our direction, ask questions, or share your ideas. Together, we will continue to shape a learning environment where ‘The sky’s the limit.’
Warm regards,
Darren

The email will appear in your inbox from GREENWITH PS EdSmart Notice with the sender being forms@edsmart.com
*Please check to make sure the emails are not in your junk folder!
And keep us updated if your contact details change*

2026 Materials & Services Charge (School Fees)
Greenwith Primary School 2026 Materials and Services fees have been set at $375.00 per student as per the watermark notice approved by the Chief Executive Officer of the Department for Education (refer to Education Act section 106A).
The SA Government $200 rebate will apply again for 2025 with the credit being applied to each child’s invoice. Eligible School Card applicants are exempt from the rebate.
The school community was polled late 2025 and the outcome of the poll was successful, therefore the community did support to fully legally recover all of the school fees. The standard sum (compulsory to pay and legally recoverable) total of $375.00.
The standard sum minus the Government rebate will only leave $175.00 compulsory to pay.
Fees are required to be paid in full by April 10th, 2026 (End of Term 1) unless you have applied for School Card and are waiting on an outcome or have completed a Payment Plan
School Card scheme (assistance for low-income families)
The School Card scheme is administered by the Department for Education (DfE) and provides financial assistance towards the educational expenses incurred by families at government and non-government schools who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility for School Card assistance is dependent upon the combined family income for the 2024/2025 financial year being within the School Card income limits. School card applications are lodged online. Information and applications can be found at www.sa.gov.au/education/schoolcard
If you have any questions, please get in touch with the School Card team on 1800 672 758. NOTE: A new application for School Card must be completed and lodged each year.
