2026 Swimming Sports

Celebrating Our 2026 Swimming Sports Success! 🏊‍♀️🏆

What an incredible day we shared at our 2026 Swimming Sports.

A heartfelt thank you to every single student in Grades 3 to 6 who participated with such enthusiasm, courage, and determination. From the early morning warm-ups to the final relay races, your energy and commitment made the event truly memorable.

Throughout the day, our students demonstrated not only impressive swimming skills but also outstanding sportsmanship. Whether you were racing for a ribbon, bravely attempting a new stroke for the first time, or cheering loudly from the sidelines, you played an important part in making the event such a success.

A very special congratulations to Coghlan House, our overall champions for 2026! 🏆 Your consistent effort across all events, teamwork in the relays, and unwavering house pride truly paid off. Well done to every member of Coghlan House for this fantastic achievement.

We would also like to recognise our Age Champions:

  • 9G – Lyndsay Kranen
  • 9B – Patrick O’Malley
  • 10G – Taylan Pocklington
  • 10B – Hamish Meyer and David Fawcett
  • 11G – Jaz Cox
  • 11B – Lennox Morehouse
  • 12G – Samara Johnston
  • 12B – Ollie Jarrett

A special mention must go to Lennox Morehouse, who broke the 11B freestyle record that has stood since 2012—an outstanding accomplishment.

Congratulations also to Jaz Cox, Caitlin Saario, Addi Strybosch, and Taya Botha of Coghlan House, who broke the 11G freestyle relay record that has stood since 2013. What a phenomenal team effort.

We commend all houses for the wonderful school spirit displayed throughout the day. The cheering, colourful house shirts, encouraging words, and respectful conduct reflected the very best of our school community. It was inspiring to see students supporting one another, celebrating personal bests, and showing resilience in every race.

Swimming Sports is about so much more than winning ribbons—it’s about participation, perseverance, and pride in being part of something bigger than ourselves. This year’s event was a shining example of those values in action.

Thank you again to all our swimmers for your bravery, positivity, and commitment. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. We are already looking forward to an even bigger and better Swimming Sports in 2027.

Well done, everyone! 🌊👏
