Principal Report

Ashley Pasqualotto
What a fast term! It has been a whirlwind of getting to know students and families and I'm grateful for all the support you have shown me already. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
As we jump into the second half of the term, classroom teachers are well into their teaching and learning units across all areas. It's such a joy to walk into classrooms during the day – they are calm, purposeful spaces where students are engaged and genuinely excited about their learning. There’s a wonderful sense of focus and positivity in every room.
As educators, we continue to focus on our own professional learning as well, and we were recently visited by a representative from Classroom Mastery who provided feedback on teacher practice surrounding our classroom routines. Routines give students a clear sense of what to expect and what is expected of them. This reduces uncertainty and frees up mental energy for actual learning rather than figuring out logistics. I thank the staff for their willingness to improve and grow their practice.
A March & April calendar will be sent home with important dates for the rest of the term.
Please note we will be having an information session for anyone with children starting school in either 2027 or 2028. This is a chance for parents to ask questions about starting school in general and I encourage anyone with young children to join us on the evening. Children are most welcome to come as well.
