Principal's Report

Dear families,

Congratulation to the P &F for their successful fundraising BBQ at Bunnings on Sunday. A special thank you to the organisers and for all the parents who volunteered to cook on such a chilly weekend. Proceeds from the BBQ will go towards protectors for our football and basketball posts. Our old ones had deteriorated to the point where we had to remove them.

STUDENT LEARNING

Nixon very proudly read the story he had written and illustrated at home with me this week. It is wonderful when students share their love of learning with me.

PARENT/STUDENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS.

Bookings are now open for PT Interviews. Please go onto XUNO and book your time. Interviews may be conducted in person or over the phone if that is more convenient for you.  Staff certainly value this opportunity to catch up with families and share the growth of your child’s learning.

PARENT/ CAREGIVER/GUARDIAN OPINION SURVEY

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey. The survey, offered by the Department of Education, is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement.

Families who have been randomly selected have received an invitation to complete the survey. Your opinions are important to us and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies. The department will use the results from the survey for research purposes and to improve outcomes for students.
