Dear Families and Students of STAPS,
Recently, the staff and students in Grade 5 have been collaborating to acquire donations to support the poor in the community. This initiative has been influenced by the teachers, helping and supporting those in need through a soup van in Frankston. If you possess any of the items below, we invite you to let us know what you have and how many by emailing eblake@cranbourneeast.catholic.edu.au. We will then let you know what you can drop off at school. These items will be donated to those who are currently struggling and are in tough times. It is a remarkable and commendable cause and hopefully you will be able to support us with this program. The next soup van date is on the 27th of August. Hope to see you soon!
Please see below a list of places that free meals are available in our area. Feel free to share this information with anyone that it may support. Sometimes a meal and a smile is just what is needed. Click on attachment below for more information.
