Year Five - Spotlight on Learning

Dear Families,

 

The students have had a wonderful time settling back into the Term.

They have enjoyed seeing their friends and getting back into the daily routines. Monday 22nd of July is our St Thomas the Apostle Day celebrations. We look forward to sharing some photos on Seesaw with you.

 

Religious Education: The Sacramental Church

Mathematics:Perimeter and Area

English:  Tom Appleby – Convict Boy Class Novel. Note taking, identifying appositives, planning Information report.

Integrated Curriculum: Focus on evolution and styles of dance. Students will be trying the Zorba dance, Bollywood Dance and Irish Dance.

Homework: Please ensure your child/ren continue to read each night. We also encourage students to keep up their mental number skills by continuing to learn or practise their multiplication & number facts.
