Show jumping clinic a resounding success
On Tuesday 13 July at the Mandurang Pony Club, Junior and Senior School students participated in a highly anticipated show jumping clinic with Alan Mitchell, where they honed their skills under the tutelage of experienced instructors.
The clinic provided an invaluable opportunity for students to practise various jumping techniques, improve their riding form, and gain confidence in their abilities. From the youngest riders to the more seasoned participants, everyone demonstrated remarkable dedication and enthusiasm.
Throughout the day, students tackled a series of jumps, each progressively more challenging. Alan, with his wealth of knowledge and supportive approach, guided the riders through each jump, offering tips and encouragement.
Despite the challenges of show jumping, all participants performed exceptionally well. Their hard work and determination shone through, making the event a rewarding experience for everyone. The clinic not only enhanced the students' equestrian skills but also fostered a sense of community and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to all the students who participated, and a heartfelt thank you to Alan Mitchell and Jody Pickering who made this event possible. The show jumping clinic was a testament to the talent and spirit of our young equestrians, and we look forward to the next clinic in August.
