District Basketball

CEPS had some very excited and enthusiastic grade 6’s ready to play basketball at the district basketball day at Springers Leisure Centre on Monday 5th August. It was a busy day with twelve-minute games back-to-back throughout the day. CEPS performed well and had some close games against competitive teams.

BOYS results CEPS:

Won 6-4, won 9-8 lost 10-4 lost 23-1 lost 15-10 won 5-4 lost 10-13

GIRLS results CEPS:

Lost 22-0 won 9-2 lost 7-3 lost 18-4 won 8-4 won 9-8 lost 19-0

Both teams showed our wonderful CEPS values and good sportsmanship throughout the day as well as having lots of fun!

Overall Results for the district:

BOYS - 1st Mentone Grammar, 2nd Stella Maris, 3rd OLA

GIRLS - 1st Cheltenham PS, 2nd OLA, 3rd Mentone Girls Grammar
