Principal's Message

Dear Endeavour Hills Specialist School community members,

As Term 2 comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude to our wonderful school community for another successful and meaningful term at Endeavour Hills Specialist School.

This term has brought some exciting developments to our school. We were thrilled to officially open our brand-new portable building for our prep classes. This modern, purpose-built space provides a bright, welcoming environment tailored to meet the needs of our youngest learners. Our prep students have settled in beautifully, and it’s been heartwarming to see their confidence and curiosity grow in this new setting.

Another exciting milestone has been the arrival of our new school bus, proudly sponsored by Variety – the Children’s Charity and WM Waste Management. This generous support has provided our students with a safe, accessible, and reliable mode of transport, helping them engage more fully with excursions and community-based learning experiences. We extend our sincere thanks to both organisations for their incredible contribution to our school.

Throughout Term 2, our students have continued to make fantastic progress in all areas of their learning. Whether in the classroom, through therapy, or in co-curricular programs, they’ve demonstrated resilience, effort, and a strong sense of community.

I’d also like to acknowledge our dedicated staff for their continued commitment, care, and professionalism. Your work does not go unnoticed, and it’s the foundation of the positive environment we enjoy every day.

To our families, thank you for your ongoing partnership and support. It is through working together that we can achieve the best outcomes for our students.

As always, we encourage you to click through the newsletter to see what each learning place has been up to this term. From classroom highlights to special events and excursions, there’s so much to celebrate!

Wishing you all a safe, restful, and happy holiday break. We look forward to seeing everyone back for Term 3, ready for more learning, connection, and growth.

Warmly,

Karen Hunt
