Principal Reflections

Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to acknowledge our wonderful Parents & Friends Committee for their amazing support of our school. 

Today, co-ordinating the Mother's Day Stalls, is just one small example of how our parents are committed to not just the education of their children, but also the whole school community.

I would like to especially thank the Parents & Friends Committee for purchasing and organising the gifts for the Mother’s Day Stall which was held this week. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out on the day. The students loved shopping for their mum and choosing a special gift.

I would like to wish all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures a happy day for this Sunday. We look forward to our Mother's Day Breakfast and Art display tomorrow morning. 

We pray to our Mother Mary to bless all the mothers of our St Edward's School community. May Mother Mary bless you all, inspiring and energising you by her gentle example of love and perseverance. May she guide you each day as you care and guide your child/ren to grow and flourish.

A Mother’s Day Prayer

I said a Mother’s Day prayer for you to thank the Lord above for blessing me with a lifetime of your tender-hearted love. I thanked God for the caring you’ve shown me through the years, for the closeness we’ve enjoyed in times of laughter and of tears. And so, I thank you from the heart for all you’ve done for me and I bless the Lord for giving me the best mother there could be!

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mums and mother figures out there who nurture, support, and love unconditionally!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful students who have taken the time to respond to our design competition as we get closer to revealing the improvements we have in store for the Primary Campus Oval. 

While the competition is still open, I would like to recognise the outstanding work of Bowen Sing in 4B.  Bowen has created an outstanding model of an obstacle/playground area.  I love your work Bowen. Congratulations!
