BGKLLEN ‘Curious to Learn’ Childcare Tours

On the 8th May, two of our Year 10 Vocational students, Jemma and Izzy, attended a program organised by BGKLLEN. This event was a tour of local childcare centres to experience this workplace and to get a ‘taste’ of what it would be like to work in the childcare industry. A number of other schools were invited to attend, and it was a great opportunity for all those who participated.

“I liked having fun with all the children and doing different activities and learning.” - Jemma

Thank you to BGKLLEN for organising the event and providing transport to the centres.

‘Financial Literacy Certificate’ EduClick – Year 12 VCE VM

The Year 12 VCE VM students completed the introduction to the Financial Literacy Certificate on Monday 12th May. This certificate helps them to make sound financial decisions in the future and hopefully enables them to understand the world of money. This also can contribute to their VET hours and help them meet the WRS outcomes.

Thank you to all the students for their participation and respect shown on the day.
