Parents and Friends 

Happy Easter to everyone, we hope you had a lovely time off and welcome to term 2 where we have lots of fun and exciting plans to share very soon.

“Democracy Sausage” will be available at St Frances De Sales on election day Saturday 3rd May.  Come down to vote in the Community Room and grab yourself a sausage. All money raised will be going to P&F. Tell your family and friends to come down too - sausages will be sizzling from 8 am - 4 pm

Mothers Day morning tea - P&F will be having their annual Mother’s Day morning tea on Friday 9th May in the community room after morning gathering.  Bring a plate to share - this is a wonderful opportunity for all mums in our community to get together and have a chat and laugh together. We hope to see many of our busy mums join us.

Mother’s Day stall will be running on Friday 9th May. Dads please give some money to your children to purchase a lovely gift for mum. Gifts range from $1-$10. 

Icy Poles  

Every Friday we sell Icy Poles at first lunch The cost is $1 per icy pole

We need volunteers who are available between 10:45-11:25 am to sell icy poles. Volunteers work on a roster system and we are very grateful for your time. If any parents are available on a Friday morning to assist, please email Sabrina atsfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au.  

The PFA run a regular Second Hand Uniform Shop. These uniforms have kindly been donated by families who have moved away or when students have outgrown their uniforms. All items are $5. Dates will be listed in the newsletter throughout the year.   

Please donate uniform! If you can donate uniform in good condition to the school, we would be very grateful as the funds raised go directly back into the school community. Donations of laundered uniform can be made at the school office. 

We thank the members of the PFA Committee for volunteering their time and talents so that we can enrich the school experience of every SFS student. 

The St Francis de Sales Parents & Friends Association (PFA) is an active part of our wonderful school community. The PFA host special events for our students throughout the year: fun lunches, raffles, sausage sizzles, discos and various other fantastic events! Our fundraising activities are used to directly benefit the students and the school community.  

Get involved!! 

The success of our events relies on the support and participation of parents, carers and the school community. You can get involved by joining the PFA committee, attending our monthly meetings or volunteering to be a parent helper.  Working together allows us to foster a great school community spirit and the students love seeing their parents/carers at school events.  

Parent Helpers 

During the year, we will need the assistance of parent volunteers to help us run various events.  We couldn’t run PFA activities without your support. Thank you in advance for your help, donations and sharing your time with us.   

All parent helpers need to have a valid Working with Children Check. You can apply for this online:

It is free to apply as a volunteer. Please make sure the school office has a copy of your Working with Children Check.
