Celebrating Mothers and Special Mother Figures

At Athol Road Primary School, we recognise and celebrate the incredible impact that mothers and all special mother figures have in the lives of our children. In our wonderfully diverse community, we see the many ways love, care, and guidance are shared, whether through mums, grandmothers, aunties, big sisters, carers, or close family friends who take on the role of nurturing and support.

These special people are the heart of our families and our community, shaping the future with their patience, encouragement, and unconditional love. Across different cultures, languages, and traditions, one thing remains the same, the powerful difference that a mother figure can make in a child's life.

To celebrate these wonderful people, we warmly invite all mothers and special people to join us for a Mother’s Day Assembly followed by a Morning Tea

When: Friday 9th May

• 9.05am – 9.45am: Special Assembly

• 9.45am – 10.30am: Morning Tea

Where: Athol Road Primary School Hall

Please stay after the assembly to share a cup of tea, connect with others, and allow us to thank you for everything you do. One and all are welcome, we can't wait to celebrate together!
