Since our last newsletter students have…
Participated in an AUSLAN incursion. This was an opportunity for students to have a refresher on sentence structure and question words such as, who, what, when, where.
Turned themselves into explorers taking a virtual journey to Venice! Using Google Vids, they stepped into the role of tour guides, researching famous Venetian landmarks and tourist attractions, turning their findings into an engaging video.
Turned themselves into young inventors. This week, our classrooms were full of chain reactions, marbles, pulleys, and plenty of excitement as students proudly presented their Rube Goldberg machines. Students used everyday materials to explore principles of physics, cause and effect, and problem-solving to pop a balloon. Their presentations showcased not only clever engineering but also fantastic teamwork, persistence, and creativity. Well done to all our young inventors!
