Australian Aeroschool Championships

Girton Grammar School took 28 students from Years 2 to 12 to the Gold Coast at the end of Term 3 to compete in the Australian Aeroschool Championships. Students qualified at the State Championships to be able to attend the event, and the Girton teams finished the competition with pleasing results, with every team placing in the top six of their division. 

 

Results

  • 2nd: Division B Upper Primary Multiple – Lauren Leung and Maya Dhanapala
  • 2nd: Division B Upper Primary Team – Lauren Leung, Maya Dhanapala, Amelia O’Rielly and Alicia Crowley
  • 2nd: Division C Lower Primary Team – Maya Reid, Rosie Kuhle, Emelia Carlson and Maddy Canobie
  • 2nd: Aerodance Division One Primary Team – Lauren Leung, Maya Dhanapala, Amelia O’Rielly, Alicia Crowley, Clarissa Salvatore and Chloe Jesser.
  • 3rd: Division C Lower Primary Multiple – Maddy Canobie and Rosie Kuhle
  • 3rd: Aerodance Division One Primary Team – Emelia Carlson, Maddy Canobie, Rosie Kuhle, Maya Reid and Ruby O’Rielly
  • 4th: Division C Lower Secondary Team – Eliza Jackson Sloane, Abi Cullen, Stephanie Carlson and Siún O’Malley
  • 5th: Aerodance Division One Primary Team – Lilly Smith, Eloise Jesson, Camilla Christian, Síofra O’Malley, Lucia Chen and Saskia Koolos
  • 6th: Division C Lower Primary Multiple – Maya Reid and Emelia Carlson
  • 6th: Aerodance Division One Primary Team – Aarna Sapehiyia, Priya Thoutam, Avika Soni, Beatrice Batters and Nesha Reid
