Lockleys Children's Centre Visit
Thursday lunch time week 9 and Tuesday recess time week 10 the Locklys Children's Centre came to visit our LNPS library and Juniory Primary playground. The students got to take a first look at the books they could borrow from our LNPS Library. They also got to listen to a book read to them by a year 6 senior girl.
Annual LNPS Scholastic Book Fair!
This year's Book Fair was amazing! Thank you to all families that came on Community Night and then throughout week 10. The amount raised will be announced next term.
Scholastic Book Club Orders
New term new issues! Issue 6 is now closed! Next term new catalogues will be handed out.

Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premier's Reading Challenge is CLOSED.
Borrowing
Reception - Can borrow 4 books
Years 1, 2, 3, 4 - Can borrow 8 books
Years 5 and 6 - Can borrow 10 books
Parents – Can borrow up to 10 books
Books can be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks. All that is required for borrowing is a library bag (for Reception, Year 1/2) and no overdue books. Students are encouraged to manage their own library bags and to borrow regularly.
Returns
Students can either place books they want to return in their classroom library box or directly into the green returns box in Tirkandi.
Overdue, Lost or Damaged Books
The school library policy for overdue, lost or damaged books is as follows. For a library book that has been overdue / lost for 2 weeks or more or returned damaged, there will be a fee of $15. However, if the book is found or returned you will be reimbursed the full amount. Students will be unable to borrow until the book(s) are returned or the payment is made. The money goes towards replacing that book.
