Level 1 & 2 Wonga Weekly

Week 3, Term 4

📚 Reading

We will be looking at the importance of inferring - inferring is when you use the clues in the picture or text towork out something when it hasn't been explained or has been implied but not directly stated. When looking at pictures, students will consider, "What do I see? What do I already know? What can I infer?" When looking at texts students will consider, "what words or phrases help me to understand the text.

-Ask questions of your child about what they believe the text is about, what they understand is happening and why.
