Year 5 and 6 Interschool Sport and ASP Sport

Unfortunately last weeks round of interschool sport was a wash out, we look forward to getting back into Interschool sport this week!

Round 4 of interschool sport will be held on May 30th with Rockets playing away against Plenty Parklands Bushrangers with Soccer and Lawn Bowls at Plenty Parklands Primary School and AFL 9’s at Kelynack Reserve. The Jets have a bye for this round so they Jets students will be taking part in the ASP program doing Rugby, Taekwondo and teacher led activities.

There are no games in round 5 due to the curriculum day on June 6th.

Our Alternative Sports Program is well underway with our students enjoying experiences in the areas of Taekwondo at MPHPS, Rugby at Mill Park Reserve and students travelling to Pit Gymnastics.

What a great way to start the term in sport at the Heights!

BDSSA Cross Country Carnival

Our annual Bundoora District Schools Sports Association Cross Country Carnival will be held this Thursday May 29. We look forward to taking a squad of 54 students to participate on the day! Good luck to everyone involved, we love to see our sporting values of Personal Best and Teamwork in action.
