Education Week

Last week was the state-wide celebration of Education Week!
The theme, ‘Celebration of Cultures’, highlighted the diversity of our communities and the importance of every child feeling safe and welcome at school. Throughout the week, students were encouraged to celebrate and share ideas to promote the wide range of cultures and cultural connections we are so fortunate to have at BEPS.
We began our celebrations by encouraging students to wear an outfit that represents their culture!
Some students chose to wear a traditional cultural outfit whereas others opted to wear clothes of similar colouring to their country’s flag.
In addition, we hosted an Open Afternoon during which families were invited to walk through our classrooms and see the wonderful work our students have been doing, with our underlying vision ‘Learn, Create, Inspire’ at the forefront of our minds.
It was a successful week for students, teachers and families!
