Cranbourne Catholic Parish - Parish Renewal Program

St Agatha’s Parish been conducting a Parish Renewal Program, providing a wonderful opportunity - as individuals and as a community - to reflect on the importance of our parish, as we appreciate the past, engage in the present and plan for our future.  This weekend is the 3rd and last weekend of the Program and if you have not yet done so, we encourage all our parish school families to take some time to look at the Program brochure – with details on where the parish is now and importantly what are our key priorities in the times ahead – mission, pastoral care, maintenance, and financial.  Hard copies have been sent home for each school family.

The Renewal Program has had a strong focus on ENGAGEMENT in parish life.  At Masses we have heard from wonderful parishioners who shared how being actively involved in our parish has nourished their faith and positively affected their lives.  We invite you to play your role.  So please also take some time to look at the Ministries flyer – we welcome your contributions.

Thoughts for reflection:

Why is celebrating our faith as a parish community important?

Showing our children how to follow Jesus is important – how to come together at Mass as part of our faith community on a regular basis.

Why is it important to be actively engaged in parish Ministries?

It is our faith in action! When we engage, our faith becomes stronger, we help others, and we keep our community strong and vibrant.

Why is it important for our parish school families to financially support the parish through a PLEDGED commitment to our Stewardship Program?

The parish works together with our parish schools to provide the best possible faith education for our children.  Financial support of the parish is a recognition of this cooperation and a small way of ensuring that the parish remains strong, viable and vibrant now and into the future.
