Agriculture

A group of Year 9, 10 and 11 students recently attended the Dookie Food & Fibre Day, where they had the chance to explore the real-world side of agriculture and deepen their understanding of food and fibre production in Australia.
Throughout the day, students took part in a range of engaging activities from calculating pasture growth to learning about the nutritional needs of cattle.
Events like these are a fantastic way to take what’s taught in the classroom and apply it in a practical, hands-on environment.
