Dear Leongatha Primary School Families,

Welcome to Week 9! It’s hard to believe we’re already this far into the term, and there’s so much to look forward to as we head towards the end of the year.

Here’s a look at the exciting events coming up this week:

Grade 3 Swimming

This week, our Grade 3 students will be hitting the pool for their swimming lessons. It’s always a highlight of the year, and we know the kids are excited to make a splash. We encourage all parents and caregivers to ensure that swimmers are prepared with the appropriate gear, including goggles and a towel. Let’s hope for some sunny weather.

Postponed Junior Athletics – Wednesday

We are thrilled to be able to reschedule the Junior Athletics event, which was postponed earlier in the term. On Wednesday, our junior athletes will have their chance to compete in a range of fun and challenging events. It’s a great opportunity for our students to show off their skills and sportsmanship, and we can’t wait to cheer them on.

Grade 6 Graduation – Thursday

This Thursday is a particularly special day for our Grade 6 students as they celebrate their Graduation. It’s a milestone moment in their primary school journey, and we are proud of all they’ve achieved. The ceremony promises to be a heartfelt celebration, and we look forward to honouring our graduates as they take this important step towards secondary school.

As we move into the final weeks of the year, we want to thank all our families and staff for their continued support. It’s been a fantastic term, and we’re excited for what’s still to come.
