Welcome to Week 10, Leongatha Primary School

We’re heading into a very exciting final stretch of Term 4, with plenty of wonderful learning experiences and celebrations taking place across the school. 

Final Step into Prep also occurs on Tuesday 9th December, and we wish our 2026 Preps all the very best with their final preparations. We also have the St Kilda Football Club visiting us on the 9th December, which will certainly add to the excitement of the day.

Grade 5 Melbourne Camp – Monday to Wednesday

Our Grade 5 students will be off on their Melbourne Camp from Monday to Wednesday. They’ll be exploring the city, engaging in hands-on experiences, and making meaningful real-world connections to their learning. I will be joining the 5s on camp and look forward to a fantastic, safe, and memorable time.

Statewide Transition Day – Tuesday 9th December

On Tuesday, students across Victoria will take part in the Statewide Transition Day, where they will meet their 2025 classroom teacher for the very first time. Please note: Our Grade 5 students will participate in their transition session once they return from camp to ensure they don’t miss this important milestone.

Prep Christmas Party – End of the Week

We finish the week with plenty of joy as our wonderful Prep students celebrate with their Prep Christmas Party. It’s always a highlight filled with fun, festive activities and lots of smiles.
