Grade 5

This fortnight the Grade 5s have put their knowledge of solutions and mixtures into practice by making honey joys! 

Did you know that butter is an impure mixture and that honey is an impure solution? Through this cooking experience, students also learnt that honey joys are a heterogenous mixture. 

Grade 6

To finish up our electricity unit, students created a ‘light up’ masterpiece in pairs. Check out some of these awesome creations from 6R using simple circuits. It’s not as easy as it looks!
