Victorian Qualifying Competition Information
Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd November
Please find included in this email details for this weekend’s Victorian Qualifying Competition at MSAC. Session reports etc are available on the Swimming Victoria Website. We have 17 swimmers representing Ringwood Swimming Club across the weekend. Please make a note of which session your swimmer is participating in, as they may only be swimming one event per session.
Where: MSAC outdoor pool, the mornings are still fresh, bring warm clothes

Saturday Session 1 Events 1-28
Arrive: 7:30am or two hours before first event
Dryland: 7:45am
Pool warm up: 8am (see below for details)
Competition Start: 9am
Saturday Session 2 Events 31-62
Arrive: 11:30 or two hours before first event
Pool Warm up: Indoor pool 12pm
Competition Start: 1pm
Sunday Session 3 Events 63-82
Arrive: 7:30am or two hours before first event
Dryland: 7:45am
Pool warm up: 8am (see below for details

Backstroke Ledges will be in use. No fins or paddles in the competition pool during warm up.
Assisted self Marshalling will in operation for this event.
50m events please marshal 5 heats prior to race
200m events please marshal 3 heats prior to race
400m events please marshal 2 heats prior to race
800m and 1500m events please marshal 1 heat prior to race
Outdoor Warm Up pool: 8-8:45am
Lanes 0-1 dive starts only
Lanes 2-7 circle swimming
Lane 8 pace swimming
Lane 9 multiclass lane
Indoor Warm-up/cool down: 8am until 30mins post competition finishing
Lane 2: multiclass
Lane 3-9: circle swimming
To make things easier for the Team Managers we asked that you all try and sit together as a group. A reminder that full club uniform is to be worn to the meet. If you don’t have a club hoodie, shorts or track pants, please wear black clothing with your club polo clearly visible over the top.
