1D

This term, Year One are investigating the Inquiry topic ‘How are we impacted by our environment?’ with a significant focus on water. Remarkable learning unfolded on our excursion to CERES where the learners delved into the fascinating world of ecosystems, waterways, and the water cycle.

During the excursion, 1D had the opportunity to connect theory with real-world application. Students recognised that water is finite, a precious natural resource we must protect. A significant focus of this program was the exploration of the water cycle. Through role play, learners investigated each stage, collection, evaporation, condensation and precipitation and understood how it plays a critical role on how our environment is impacted.
