GRIP Leadership Conference

Six students from MBSC Attended the GRIP Conference which was generously paid for by the Alpine Shire. The conference was held at the Albury Entertainment Centre. The Conference was an opportunity for students to come away with new skills, new perspectives, and new ideas for making a positive contribution as leaders.

Eddy Franzke
Year 7 student and talented runner Eddy Franzke competed recently in the Melbourne Marathon 5km (running a 15:42 which was 5th overall) and came 2nd at the
Schools State Championships 1500m event. At a 3km twilight meet at Box Hill he ran a 9:10 and broke his brother Alec's Victorian Country Record by 2 seconds.
