GREATER WESTERN REGION CRICKET 

Last week, our Year 7 Cricket team represented St Brigid's playing in windy conditions at Anzac Park in Ballarat. A big congratulations to all students involved.

We batted in our first game against Trinity making 35 runs, however Trinity was a strong team and came away with the win. Our second game was against Emmanuel College and they set a cracking run chase for us of 1/98. Hats off to Jake E and Jon G for their performance with the bat falling just short of the run chase with 0/76. Nate M starred with two wickets, chasing a hat trick in the third game against Ballarat High and our final game against Mercy College was very close allowing for all students to have a bat or bowl. Holly B once again showed brilliant skills in the field, stopping several fours and a big thank you to Jon G for his role as captain of the team.
