Reconciliation Round
This Saturday 25 November the College will hold our Summer Reconciliation round of sport across all disciplines.
The First XI Cricket and First V Basketball players will wear our College’s Aboriginal strip created in conjunction with our partner school in Alice Springs, St Joseph’s Flexible Learning Centre.
Across the day, ALL teams playing at home will Acknowledge Country prior to the commencement of their fixtures. As we do this it is important that we work for reconciliation in our everyday lives beyond just Saturday, addressing racism and affecting change for the greater good of our original custodians where possible.
SPC stands in solidarity with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and acknowledges the Wangal clan of the Dharug people in the greater Eora nation, as well as the Central Arrente people of Alice Springs.
