This term, students are learning about ways to be safe. This includes being safe around water, in the sun, on the farm, when riding bikes or scooters and fire safety. To supplement our learning, we have scheduled a visit from the Rural Fire Service (RFS) on Friday 3 November. The RFS will visit us at school and there is no cost for students to attend. As we are already in bushfire season, this service may be needed elsewhere. If this occurs, we will postpone the scheduled visit.
On Monday 23 October, KE and KF visited Thalgarrah Environmental Education Center. They had a wonderful time and learnt many new things. Here are some writing samples from the students about their day:
Yesterday KF and KG caught the bus to Thalgarrah for a Teddy Bears Picnic. The first thing we did was go up the stairs to see the bearded dragon. Then we gave food to the bearded dragon.
