PROMOTING WELLBEING

On Tuesday 31st of October, 8K class had the pleasant surprise to welcome Bailey, the therapy dog, with his dog trainer, Mel.

Bailey is a gorgeous Golden retriever, aged 5.

A therapy dog helps decreasing anxiety, brings emotional regulation, wellbeing support and unconditional love.

In a nutshell, it makes everyone feels safe and happy in class, while easing learning.

Mel introduced Bailey to every student, some asked for a pat, and Bailey gave his paw too.

Smiles were on each face; tension went out and everyone felt good.

Many thanks to therapy dog Bailey and his dog trainer Mel from Therapy Animals Australia, and special thanks to Jake Phin who has made this event possible.
